Residents at Fairmile Grange care home had an egg-cellent Easter

To celebrate Easter weekend, our residents of Fairmile Grange were extremely egg-cited to participate in numerous Easter themed activities and events.

All of our residents had the opportunity to get creative and make delicious chocolate nests. By the end of the day there were very few chocolate nests left in sight, so it is safe to say they went down a treat.

If there wasn’t already enough chocolate, after we had baked to our hearts (or should we say stomach’s!) content, our residents were all given a tasty Easter chocolate bunny to enjoy. Following a lovely day filled with chocolate treats, an Easter service was then provided for those who wanted to join in.

To round off a fun Easter weekend, residents and staff danced the bank holiday away to some fabulous jazz music, which left plenty of smiles and laughter filling the Fairmile Grange grounds.

Heidi Johnstone, activities coordinator of Fairmile Grange, ensured everyone had a brilliant time celebrating the long weekend. It is always such a pleasure to see our lovely residents enjoying themselves and getting stuck in with activities. We have many more exciting activities and events planned over the next couple of months, which we can’t wait for the residents to get involved in and enjoy.
