We were incredibly excited to open our doors on 22nd December to welcome residents in time for Christmas. Our first four residents moved in on Friday 23rd December. They were warmly greeted by Home Manager, Becky Robson, and her wonderful team of care professionals.
Celebrating in style
To mark the occasion, we had a small ‘red carpet’ event to welcome everyone. We gave Jack Wright, the very first resident, the honour of cutting the ribbon.
The festivities and merriment over Christmas were fantastic. We had games, music, and of course, a traditional Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings!
Jack, our first resident, was ecstatic when he found out that Fairmile Grange was opening before the holidays,
“I was over the moon when I found out I could move in on 23rd December. It made my Christmas to know I would be getting companionship.”
Situated at the very centre of wellbeing, Fairmile Grange specialises in residential, nursing and dementia care. We are located next to Grove Surgery and the new pharmacy at Christchurch Hospital.
