Personalised care to suit you

All our care homes offer high quality care to suit you, or your loved ones needs. We offer residential, nursing, palliative and respite care throughout all our homes.

We appreciate that no two people are the same, especially when it comes to your care requirements, which is why you, or your loved one will receive a personalised care plan from day one. Care plans are reviewed regularly should those needs change.

Our highly qualified, dedicated care teams are specialists in elderly care. They are not only employed for their skills and experience but for their compassionate natures too.

The Care we Provide

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a care home and a nursing home?

Both provide accommodation, supervision from care staff 24 hours a day, meals and support with personal care needs. However, nursing homes also have registered nurses on duty around the clock. This means that they provide care for residents with complex needs and those that require frequent nursing interventions.

Does moving into a care home result in complete loss of independence?

No. We can help you with as much or as little as you require. Independence is as much about making your own choices as it is about still being able to do things for yourself. A full healthcare assessment will help to identify any areas that you might require additional assistance; however, aside from nursing care needs, we will be led by you and your wishes.

Who will be looking after my loved one?

Fairmile Grange has a dedicated team of care professionals. We only employ the kindest and most committed team members to work for Fairmile Grange. As a rule, each floor of the home has a fantastic team of Healthcare Assistants, as well as a Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Nurse. The care teams get to know every single person in their care; including the individuals likes, dislikes and care needs.

How does Fairmile Grange ensure it employs the best staff?

Our care teams receive constant training and development – not only from our dedicated Learning and Development Team.

What is the process of moving our loved one into Fairmile Grange

We know that the decision to move into a residential care home can be one of the most difficult for families. However, our aim is to make the transition as easy as possible to ensure you and your loved ones feel welcome. We provide your loved one with a full healthcare assessment prior to admission to find out about their care needs and ensure that we have everything they require. The home admissions team will then liaise with the resident and family to arrange a move in date that suits you.

Can we choose a bedroom?

Absolutely. If there is more than one bedroom available on the appropriate floor, you will have the choice. Different floors often specialise in different care needs, therefore, your loved one will be alongside residents with similar care requirements.
