We are a modern, purpose-built care home in Christchurch, Dorset. Conceived and delivered in partnership with the NHS, you will find us within the ‘care campus’ of the Christchurch hospital.
Our residents are supported by an exemplary standard of 24-hour personalised care, tailored to their individual needs and delivered by our friendly, nurse-led care team 7 days a week in our first-class facilities.
To our friendly, expert team of carers you are more than simply a resident, you are a person with your own preferences, needs and the way you like to do things.
Our care team are people too, just like you. They’ll take the time to get to know you, to make you feel at home and amongst friends. Our wellbeing team are very good at organising activities and events, so there’s something interesting going on here every day.
One day we might have a singer to entertain us, or you could find yourself involved in quizzes and games. Everybody enjoys a pamper session from time to time. Pets occasionally visit too.

Some of our residents come to Fairmile Grange because they were having difficulty managing everyday life at home. Here you can enjoy your independence for longer while enjoying life in a comforting environment amongst friends.
Our personally tailored care plans are thoughtfully created so they provide you or your loved one with just the right amount of care that you actually need.
Should you or your loved one need specialist nursing care, you can take comfort from knowing that our qualified nurses are on-hand to support you 24 hours a day.
They and their highly competent team of care assistants will ensure that the personal care plan we have tailored to suit your individual needs is working as it should.
Fairmile Grange is purpose-built to be dementia-friendly, from the layout of the building, sensitive decor and interior design, to colour, lighting, layout and noise – all factors that help ensure residents living with dementia feel at home and comfortable.
Our nurses endeavour to learn as much about each resident as possible, enabling us to create a Care Plan as individual as they are.

Fairmile Grange can offer a comfortable and relaxing short-term respite stay. If, for example, you or a loved one has had an operation, or has been unwell and needs a place to stay while you recover. We can also provide a welcome break for full-time carers.

Sherlyn has worked in the healthcare sector in the UK since 1999. She originally trained and worked as an Intensive Care Nurse in Malaysia. She was a nursing cadet at school and dreamed of becoming a nurse since she was 13.
Sherlyn is an experienced Care Home Manager and has managed care homes since 2006. Her passion for working with the elderly came from spending time with her grandparents during her childhood, and this was further developed when she had her first job in the UK in a nursing home in London.
Sherlyn says, “I feel very proud and privileged that I am living my dream of being a nurse and helping others every day. My mission for Fairmile Grange is to deliver exceptional, person-centred care to residents and ensure high standards of support. I am dedicated to making sure residents can live their lives to the fullest.”
